Badass! Take notes, Snowrunner.
pls . is rear steering system has lock at a specified speed
No locks related with vehicle speed
It's 2023 almost and I'd still want one. Ran a 1940 Oshkosh blower, a Snogo.
How much it costs?
Zero information 😂
Oshkosh out of business????
no
Boycott no Olympics until there is freedom 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🤗🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
An excellent example of a woman leader in manufacturing.
The only striker version i loved..
First Hybrid ARFF truck in the world
Very cool. What a complex piece of machinery. Thank you for the speed build ;-)
What is the cost of it guys
What the cost of this machine blower or brBroom or Plum patch Farms
I don't know how much they cost, but I know that almost every airport has one. Every air force base I've ever been on has one or two.
We have had nothing but problems with ours. FLIRs don't work, K-Factor failed, leaks engine and drive train fluids at several locations, some drive and emergency light don't work, it was shipped with water in the piping resulting if frozen and cracked brass valves, interior finish is peeling out of the compartments, Yesterday the warranty mechanics for the Scandia engines were in our station to troubleshoot the continues failure of the O2 sensors. While conducting an engine test, it overheated and melted the DEX hoses resulting in a fluid leak across the engines. The Engineers at our station are NOT impressed with Oshkosh at all. We are interested to find out if we got a lemon or if this is a wider ranging issue with these trucks.
El Alto International Airport is the worlds highest International airport above sea level. It's quite literally over 4 Km up in the mountains where the air is significantly thinner. You can bet Oshkosh installed an upgraded turbocharger and doubled up the radiator core to keep the fan motor from working extra hard. Engines work extra hard to maintain horsepower and have a harder time from overheating the engine.
I work at the airport i have to work sometimes in this truck aslo
❤️
How troubleshoot OSHKOSH please it cannot start
Follow No one. Strange. I see a lot of Rosenbauer Panther in this new Striker.
Tengo 20 años de manejar vehículos Oshkosh y con mucha satisfacción e visto sus mejoras.
I’m a former 12-year FD Engineer, and we also controlled the Air Crash units. The new 4x4 would also make an outstanding general-purpose unit for many structures, railway, and highway response purposes. With its off-road agility and speed, tank size, foam/light-water, hose reels, cross-lays, and reach; would put both conventional and specialized units to shame. They would also outlast other brands, and be my first choice for brush fires too! I'm now retired, but I still love keeping current on emerging technologies.
that music was obnoxiously intense
I would like to see all the big players get together with their best 4x4 6x6 and 8x8 and duke it out. Head to head. Everything compared cost, speed, maintenance, load carry, roll, braking, water distance and pressure, cab work space and comfort, protection, etc. We do Olympics to get earn the title of best. now put your reputation on the table. All countries all companies....come on do your best.
i'm not sure you release how much that would freaking cost. With pretty much no benefit to anyone. These service systems don't run off of federal reserves like military contracts.
@@Themayseffect The companies would do it. It's not up to the services. You want the bragging rights that have been tested and proven true in the field of competition? Then put your money and machine where your mouth is. Want a comparable example....the Olympics, off road racing, etc.
@@wcresponder again.... There is no incentive. These machines were already made to contract specifications. Olympics teams and race teams make money by selling to the civilian market. These machines aren't readily available for civilian or normal corporations.
@@Themayseffect You truly don't get it do you? Oshkosk does more than fire trucks, if they could win then their whole market goes up. Military, commercial, law enforcement and they might even sell a few private trucks. Boeing sells new hornet jets their commercial market benefits. Athletes sell to all markets. Anyone one can buy as many of these vehicles as they can afford if they so choose. Their are no rules against it. Ferrari , Lamborghini, Alpha Romeo, Maclearn, can't be afforded by most civilian and yet anyone can purchase them.
The new ones are garbage. They can’t hold a charge not even with the battery conditioner plugged in. Too many computers on board draining the voltage. What happened to the old school late 80s P-19s that we’re built to last.
@Zac Wojcik - I’m curious on where you found that information. After all, I don’t think a truck as widely used as this would have electrical problems. From my point of view, I’m sure the electronics are fine. If they have the ability to install computers, I’m sure they had the ability to add new electrical wiring systems to accommodate the higher voltage. Furthermore, in my opinion, just because something is made to last, doesn’t mean it’s good. Technologies change and new problems arise. I’m confident that a P-19 from the 1980s wouldn’t even come close to the versatility or performance of current fire trucks. Of course, that’s not to say the P-19 is a bad truck.
Yeah but eur0pe claim this design too (didnt give credit to american & us contractor). Why dont u try to contact them personally.
So useful and multifunction apparatus.
That SNOZZLE was designed and built by a company here in DALLAS, TX. CRASH FIRE EQUIPMENT. Spent a lot of time watching them experiment with it in there yard across from the main plant . They really build some nice looking crash fire trucks (sorry I'm from the old school )! C F R ) I collect model fire trucks, have over two hundred. Really into C F R trucks. Thanks enjoyed the videos.
Snozzle was designed by Crash & Rescue company. Maybe it's the same, but I have this brand in the service manual of snozzle HRET.
I use an older version of this oshkosh at the airport that i work at. Works really well, i've moved a lot of snow with it on runways, taxiways and concourses over the years.
Quite impressive - a lot of good thinking goes into these machines. Is this a half-million $ machine?
Hope they start using them in forest fires, with a reach like that would be awesome. ❗❗🇺🇸
Very impressive. Now get one of each type from the main manufacturers and do a head to head. Make the video of each companies 4wheel, 6wheel, and 8wheel versions.
I love the engines you guys put in these Beasts!!!
Good luck with that one day
I just want one for fun, haha.
The number 1
Nice....The philippine Civil AB bought also vehicles from your company , how come theres no video of that one....
I want one, You should do a competition to win a day experience with it :-)
So how is this beauty working out for you?
too bad they don't answer questions.
